Release 2026.9.0
Wanscale 2026.9.0 introduces Managed WAN services with cellular connectivity and physical site tracking, extends the modern Service Overview & Network Health dashboards across seven service types, redesigns the Endpoint Manager subnets experience, streamlines onboarding and account workflows, and brings more accurate bandwidth reporting to Service Edge.
Managed WAN
Standalone cellular connectivity
You can now order, configure, and monitor Managed WAN directly in the Control Center. Managed WAN provides managed cellular connectivity with dedicated hardware monitoring and site-level integration.
Live cellular telemetry and hardware details
The Managed WAN overview focuses on operational health:
- Cellular & signal metrics: View live signal strength (RSSI and SNR) and operational status at a glance.
- Traffic & uptime: Track active data usage and device uptime directly from the top summary card.
- Dedicated Hardware Details: Deep technical details—including SIM slot status, IMEI, modem identifiers, MAC addresses, and system resource utilization—are accessible via a dedicated Hardware / Device details subpage.
Physical site locations and maps
Physical location management is now integrated directly into your services:
- Assign site addresses to your Managed WAN appliances with embedded interactive map previews.
- Helpful status banners highlight when a service is missing a location assignment.
- View all co-located network equipment (Service Edges and Managed WAN devices) in your tenant location inventory.
Service overviews and network health
Following our health-first design introduced in 2026.8, seven additional service types now feature modernized overview dashboards. These pages highlight real-time operational health, active alerts, and live performance metrics, while organizing configuration and deletion tools safely within an Actions menu:
- Cloud Connect — live health status, shared throughput telemetry, and active alarm monitoring
- Internet — operational status, traffic metrics, and actionable alerts
- DC Connect — port operational status, traffic charts, and active alerts
- Fortinet Firewall — integrated operational health and gateway connectivity indicators
- BYOIP — lean status and IP prefix inventory dashboard
- Endpoint Manager — operational readiness, blocking status, and direct subnet inventory access
- Endpoint — clear operational status, active blocking state, and warning indicators
Control Center improvements
Endpoint Manager subnets table
Managing subnets on Endpoint Manager is now much simpler:
- Replaced the previous card layout with a compact, searchable inventory table that makes navigating large subnet deployments fast and efficient.
- Added subnet deletion with mandatory CIDR confirmation to protect against accidental removals.
- Streamlined the page address for consistency with navigation.
Smoother onboarding and profile management
- Email confirmation: Accounts awaiting email verification are now routed directly to the email confirmation page rather than an error page.
- International phone numbers: Phone number inputs now accept valid international phone numbers with country codes (such as
+31...). - Tenant invitations: Accept and decline actions on tenant invitations are now fully translated.
Service Edge bandwidth accuracy
Bandwidth graphs and summary cards on the Service Edge overview now measure WAN traffic only. Internal LAN port traffic is no longer added to WAN throughput, providing an accurate view of your actual internet and wide-area network utilization.
Usability and navigation polish
- Tag icons: Replaced sales tag icons with clear
Labelicons across all tags, chips, and filters. - Tenant selector: Deleting an unused tenant immediately removes it from the top navigation dropdown without needing a page refresh.
- L2 Connect validation: When QinQ (802.1ad double-tagging) is enabled on an L2 Connect service, port member forms clearly indicate and require a VLAN ID.
- Logout flow: Clicking Logout now reliably clears your session and redirects to the sign-in screen.
Summary
Wanscale 2026.9.0 brings Managed WAN cellular connectivity with live telemetry, brings the health-first dashboard redesign to all major network services, simplifies subnet management on Endpoint Manager, and delivers key refinements to onboarding and bandwidth analytics.
